Every few years, new gaming software framework market. Usually hit the market just before Christmas, which is a nightmare for parents; as almost every kid on the planet is in a "recipient" mood rather than a give. This means that many children want to see the game console and their eyes will light up like Fireworks. Well, the same will happen again this year. November 17th, 2006, the PlayStation 3 hit stores everywhere. This means electronic stores all across the United States will transform the madhouses. Why are there? Well, its a little thing called supply and demand. It would be that big a deal if there were lots of Playstation 3s to go around, but, unfortunately, is not the case, and there will be far fewer people than the console systems. A low amount of gaming systems and a high quantity of needy customers always produces the same result, and this result is not good.
Of course, came to the same with XBOX 360 last November, short supply and high demand. Although this system costing $ 400, stop, not the people from getting in line to buy one. Although this line was 2 to 3 blocks long. Playstation 3 is priced at $ 600, and there is no doubt that the same scenario will occur, if not a worse.
If you feel you need to get a PS3, so you will no doubt get a on pre-order list as soon as possible. However, there is a problem with this task. Thats not to say you get a PS3 on November 17th, but to get one without being on a on pre-order list is one heck of a implementation, and to some a nearly impossible feat. In addition, each day that you waste just "thinking" about getting on a on pre-order list, you are much further away from actually getting a Playstation 3. The faster you act, you have more chances.
What can be done to get on a list? Plenty! Just because there are plenty of people who want a Playstation 3, does not mean that each on pre-order list will be complete. To get a PS3 as of the date of publication, you need to ask around on a few different shops. Of course, your going to ask the fundamental questions, such as "are you selling Playstation 3s?", "you have a on pre-order list?", "how many people are on the list before me?", etc. But many people fail to ask the other important issues, like: "how many GB PS3s transfers you will receive this month? What about next month? "and" When is your next Playstation 3 shipment? ". Yeah, its true that not all stores will provide, in addition to specific information, but there will be plenty of shops that you'll enjoy all the information you need.
If you get on a list, not on pre-order, stop that. multiple lists you are on, the more chance you have or obtain a PS3 release day or before Christmas (which is the goal of most). Although they are called "on pre-order" lists, does not necessarily mean that the lists would disappear after the release day. Most of these lists will last until Christmas, and/or usually a month or two after. If people drop off the list, or do not have money to buy the PS3, when their "time" is called, they move, and you move. Enough apostasy in a list, and you can even get a PS3 more quickly than expected.
Theres no doubt about it, its going to be a hectic day for shops and shoppers on November 17th, 2006. But if you take precautions and do a little research, I welcome a Playstation 3 will undoubtedly be your on its launch date. Then again, you could always just wait 3-4 months and get one when PS3 craze dies down; but thats up to you and how devoted or a PS3 fan you really are.
