PlayStation Move - control of the movement for the Playstation 3


Sony is jumping into the kind of control of movement with the introduction of the Playstation move. It is a new controller for Playstation 3 that allows the user to control on-screen with physical movements. The Wii has started the craze of control of movement, now Sony is capitalize and improvement of the idea. The device consists of two separate controllers, or rods as Sony calls, which interact to movements of relay for characters on the screen. Two rods have a bulb light-up on the end, a little smaller than the other. Both controllers also have standard Playstation buttons on them. There are two buttons are unique on move controllers, one on the front of the controller and a trigger on the back. The other mandatory element is the eye of peripheral Playstation which pick up the movements of the body and to transmit their return to the console.

The most important question is how it will be integrated in the games. You can expect launch games that contain several mini or party games, much as Nintendo has done with Wii Sports. A fighting game has been demo would be at E3 this year which showed the chopsticks appears on the screen as your hands punching away. Sony demo also had a subjective shooting game, SOCOM 4, which showed the chopsticks used as a gun on the screen. Popular upcoming game Suites such as kill Zone 3 and Little Big Planet 2 have been confirmed to have characteristics of motion integrated into the game as well.

With all the hype behind the Playstation move, everyone wants to know when it will be released and what the cost will be. Sony responded to this question this year at E3. It will hit retail stores in the United States on September 19, with international dates variant on the same date. Sony offers a package bundle with controllers and the Playstation eye for $99.99. The bundle will also include sport Champion centric minigame game. If you already have the device of the eye, the controllers will be available separately.
