How to Find PlayStation 3 Game Cheats

If you are a proud owner of a game console called PlayStation 3 then you also have a few dozen games. You may also like to win your games but some of them are a bit harder to win then the others.

Or you wish to hold the secret weapons, get to higher levels much faster or other perks like that. This means you need cheats.

You need to find some PlayStation 3 cheats and use them. You may not know but there are some places where you can find these cheats.

Search Online

On the net is probably the best place to look for video game cheats. There are many websites that provide them, especially for the PlayStation consoles.

Once you have encountered a couple of these sites, look for the specific cheats that you want and see how they work.

But you should know that not all the cheats in PlayStation 3 games are just like that, on public displays on the websites. For some of them, you may even be asked to pay. Or, you need to do a lot of digging in order to find them for free.

Still, if you find some cheats at one price, there is a chance to get them even cheaper than that if you look much further. The guys that sell these things know that a PlayStation console costs a lot and so do the games.

They do not expect you to pay hundreds of dollars for a cheat. So you may be asked to pay a few couple of dollars, around twenty or thirty, depending on the cheat.

Search in Magazines

Besides websites, you can also look for cheats in the gaming magazines. For example, if you are a subscriber to a PlayStation 3 magazine, they can let you know if they have cheats or not.

But usually these published cheats are not that great, since everybody has access to them. They most probably are able to give you an extra weapon or a new level but nothing extraordinary.

For the amazing and cool PlayStation 3 video game cheats, got to be prepared to pay for those.

The cool cheats will offer you hours after hours of playing and add a lot of excitement into your game. You must also be aware of that fact that this will happen if you use them correctly.

Sony Playstation 2 - PS2 - Repair Or Replace?

"Disc Error" Displays On My PS2

My PS2 is not working. My PS2 repeatedly displays the "Disc Error" screen. My PS2 is broken. I continue to reset my console but despite my efforts it still won't work. My games won't play at all. I cannot afford to buy a new Playstation 2 or even purchase a used Playstation 2 system.

PS2 Games Won't Play!

My PS2 has been abused and mistreated. This valuable form of entertainment has been inadvertently dropped, bumped and dragged. Many of our favorite games would not play or load when inserted in the PS2 much to our frustration. The problem started out the with the older games, but now even the newer games would not play. The popular error message "Disc Read Error" was the dreaded outcome every time we attempted to play a game. None of the games would play in my console.

Where's My Easy Button to Fix My PS2?

I was disappointed. I researched and compared prices. My research only confirmed I was in no financial position to purchase a brand new PS2 system. I hoped I could afford to purchase a used system, but the price tag for the used system was still too expensive to fit in my tight budget. During my research, I read about several simple repairs to fix my PS2 detailed in a PS2 repair guide. I cheered up a bit after learning that information. I made a note of the information for later use. I was determined I would attempt to fix my PS2 before resorting to purchasing another system. The thought of purchasing a PS2 repair guide was definitely more affordable then my other more expensive option. After all, purchasing another PS2 system would have to be delayed indefinitely until I was able to afford it.

Most PS2 Systems Can Be Repaired

I was relieved to know that most PS2 systems can be repaired with simple tools and a screwdriver. I hoped I could repair my PS2 and avoid paying more than necessary. The repairs were very simple, straightforward and inexpensive. The fact that the repairs required no technical or mechanical skills was the most notable feature of the guide that persuaded me that the guide was worth a try if all else failed.

Common Disc Read Errors: Cause of Most PS2 Disc Read Errors

Disc read errors are caused when the disc whether it be a regular Playstation game, Playstation 2 game, compact disc or dvd can't be read by the Playstation 2 console. The laser in the console is unable to read the disc. The disc may possibly be scratched or dirty. The proper method to clean a disc is use a lint-free cloth made specifically for cleaning CD/DVD discs. Clean the disc starting from the innermost circle and wipe out to the edge in a straight line. Cleaning or wiping the disc in a circular motion or any other manner may create more scratches on the disc.

Bottom Line

I cleaned the dirty and scratched discs thoroughly. I had my fingers crossed that my problem would be solved by cleaning the discs, but my PS2 still displayed "Disc Error". I was disappointed but not willing to give up yet. I promptly ordered "The Professional Playstation Repair Guide" because I needed step-by-step instructions and the detailed visual guidance the photographs provided of the actual repair of a Playstation 2. After receiving the guide, I was able to repair my PS2 at a cost significantly less than replacing my PS2 because my first instinct was to trash it. I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. I had succeeded in my efforts to repair my PS2.

Operation PS2 Fix Was A Success

"The Professional Playstation Guide" is a one of the best purchases I have made. The guide will teach you how to correct almost any error that your PS2 gives from cleaning the PS2 laser, fixing the clicking or squeaky sounds and adjusting the voltage of your PS2. The guide offers a 8 week money back guarantee though I am confident you will be just as pleased as I was with this guide. I would recommend "The Professional Playstation Guide" to anyone experiencing problems with a PS2console. This guide is a must have for all avid PS2 players.

The PlayStation 3 have overheating problems does?

For Sony things weren't looking for so great a going back to the Tokyo Games Show in September 2006. Sony PlayStation 3 games was their eagerly anticipated new system unveiling, and the demo units were spluttering, and dying left and right. This was essentially bad news given the recent recall of Sony's lithium-ion batteries.

The problem was simply that the PlayStation 3 console was overheating. A representative of a company shares was the first to report it and soon after, everyone was in the gaming industry about the new PS3 's overheating problem.

Actually, there were several reasons why the consoles were take two that really doesn't have anything to do with overheating, the design of the machines themselves, 39. To begin with, the Tokyo Game Show was extremely hot. Everyone that visited Japan in September will know that it is a brutal time of year, and the room lacked air conditioning. There were 200 PlayStation 3 all-in-action close together, which is probably poor planning of the organisers. To add insult to injury, all consoles were sealed in cases to prevent someone peeking in the machine. This means that there was no way that the exhaust fans, which reportedly had been running fine, can get rid of all that heat right click.

It seems clear that with 200 consoles in sealed cases in sweltering conditions which they would be on fire. Still, I looked very bad. Representatives of Sony were all over the place during October stating that there were overheating problems and not many gamers were skeptical.

To add insult to injury for Sony was the recent recall of the lithium ion batteries, which usually used Vaio Laptops in there. The batteries were overheating and bursting into flames! This resulted in a massive recall of nearly seven million batteries is returned, and this was a huge financial blow to Sony. Critics noted that Sony was actually aware of this problem, but not fast enough to respond, and if they hate, the recall can be avoided. Taking all this into account, the effect Sony's reputation pretty bad, combined with the overheating demos at the Tokyo Game Show I looked much worse. With batteries explode and the new PlayStation console choking away, many investors decided to pull back. At that time Sony dropped the share price 2.75% "

Now, since the release of the PlayStation 3 console late last year, the number of machines have been over heating? The good news seems to be that nobody has reported about heating their machines. It may be just a fluke. With regard to the various reasons why the consoles were getting over heated at the Tokyo Game Show, none of which seems to be at the machines themselves, and all the lack of consumer confidence and bad press blew it way out of proportion.

It has occurred by many gamers that after prolonged gaming, sometimes 48 hours straight (more or less), different games on the PlayStation 3, there are no problems with the report was. The fans stayed calm, warm air coming out of the back was run there, it got warm as all consoles do, but not too hot and no overheating problems was noted. The only problems were vague eyes, back and thumbs and delirium with a complete lack of sleep and videogame overdose.

Finally, if you don't believe that the lack of PlayStation 3 overheating problems, check out the gaming forums, you won't hear anything about PS3 on these issues.

The PlayStation 3D TV-powerful 3D gaming technology from Sony to reveal

Sony's ever popular games console to intensify even further into desirability can be about with the recently announced "arrival of the PlayStation 3D TV. Sony announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo that during June 2011 she will model on the market in addition to their existing range of 3D Tvs in an attempt to make the 3D gaming market by storm. Sony plan to use of pioneering technology that allows two individual players see different game images on screen by simply pressing a button, radical change in the existing method split-screen, and the opening of new opportunities on the ways that competitive games are played.

The announcement puts out of the blue as a source of solid 3D games 3D content that has real potential to place of 3D TV in the Centre of the needs of our technology for the home. Of course looking at images in 3D increases the sense of immersion, which of course is one of the main attractions of gaming in General-not of this world and you in another where you are in control and slap bang in the middle of the action. With video games trying to deliver a true 3D experience in vain for many years, and the Nintendo 3DS not quite delivering everything it promised, very much it seems as if it will ensure that their new Sony PlayStation 3D TV the pole position in the race for the best new 3D entertainment from 2011.

Sony have said that the PlayStation 3D TV screen size 24 inch and come as part of a bundle that various essential accessories such as active shutter 3D glasses, HDMI connector cables connect to the TV, will contain the PS3 and a 3D game which will be first indications suggest resistance 3. The glass on a rechargeable lithium ion battery that Sony should operate according to a 45 minute two give up to 30 hours of playing time, plus just a couple of minutes free is expected to provide for the possibility a few full hour. With a planned release date of autumn 2011 is there enough time for to change elements of this bundle, and it will be no surprise to see whether different or additional games included.

For everyone who has been following the progress of 3D TV technology in the past year or so, maybe the 24-inch display size is surprising. First impressions on the small side seen much of the focus has been on building on 3D TV seems bigger-screen models and selling to increase the immersive feeling that is an important part of watching 3D images. But Sony to gamers who seek this innovation used two smaller screens, they can play in the bedrooms and other small spaces where standard larger 3D Tvs are much too large.

At around £ 320 or about $ 500 the price can be seen at the right level, although some extra pairs of Sony about $ 50-$ 70 glass costs between also. Early reports indicate that the photo quality supplied by the 1080p, 24 inch, edge lit LED display is strong, and other specifications of the model a 5000 include two 1 contract ratio, 2 HDMI inputs and a viewing angle 176 degrees for players. This wide viewing angle seems to be a crucial part of the TV, allowing players to sit next to each other, just as they do now to enjoy games for multiple players and still get the full 3D effect.

Other features include a headset port, two HDMI ports, 1 component port and two speakers. All combined with an ultra thin display. But the ability for players to see different 3D images while playing the same game, of course, is the jewel in the Crown. The use of the technology what known as quad frame sequential display technology, and speed is in simple terms it works by combining the individual 3D glasses with the TV to send pictures the various players.

Most major manufacturers, and Sony in particular of course believe that 3D games the adoption of 3D Tvs will drive even higher, and this seems to be the first real effort of a manufacturer of great games to try and give it a try which points. For an experienced gamer the PlayStation 3D TV could become one of the all time must-have gaming gadgets. And for those of us who are themselves no class, 39 as hardened gamers, than this new development would be the fuel that set us on the road. There are already more than 100 PS3 3D games in circulation and if the PlayStation 3D TV is successful it will be no surprise to see that number increase significantly.

The expected price of about $ 500 this option can only encourage everyone who is on the fence about buying a 3D TV to jump in with both feet. And the potential for the future is excellent. Imagine when 3D games get paired with motion-sensing controls or head tracking technology, we could be faced with a whole new ways of gaming. Players can manipulate 3D environments with a wave of their hand. Game play and the player level creation can be much more intuitive than ever before. Should the PlayStation 3D TV as successful as seems likely, it can be the doorway to open up even more new and innovative gaming experience.

It sounds good, doesn't it? But there are some draw backs. The most important thing is that the dual player mode only works with 3D games that are specifically created to take advantage of it. Clearly this means that from this perspective, all existing games currently incompatible will though of course you can play them as a single player in 3D. Sony will reportedly have around 100 fully compatible games released by the end of the year.

So we have to wait and see what further developments take place. But if the idea of the PlayStation 3D TV not your imagination grab an alternative way to achieve your PlayStation Sony with the recently released a 3D TV 3D TV/PC combination hook. Known as the Vaio All In One, the combo comes with a 24 inch, 1080p HD LCD monitor, plus a built-in Blu-Ray player. Connectivity to a PS3 is via an HDMI port. At a price of about $ 1400 the all-in-one would be a better option for anyone who wants to combine 3D games with their other online activities.

PlayStation 3 Servers Crashed and Hacked - Are Gamers Now Switching to Xbox 360?

With the online serves for Sony PlayStation 3 networks crashing last month, does this mean some gamers cross over to Xbox 360 and abandon the PS3?The $60 per year Xbox 360 online cost may sound a little expensive, but at least the Xbox servers don't crash.

From about mid April 2011 to mid May 2011 the PlayStation 3 network was down. The apparent cause of the network being down was due to hackers. Apparently these hackers were able to intrude the PlayStation 3 servers, and cause serious damage to the servers. It was so bad, that you could not even play any of your favorite games online for over a month. So many gamers playing Call of Duty Black Ops, in multiplayer were not able to play the multiplayer online.

It was also announce that Sony believes account information, including passwords were compromised. Some reports suggested the credit card info was also compromised but according to Sony this was not the case. The reason gamers have their credit card information on file with Sony is mainly due to the PlayStation store. The store you can buy older games, demos, game add-ons and downloadable content to name a few. If you frequently did this, you could store your credit card information in the PlayStation store in what's called your wallet. This gave you the ability to buy a game, and not have to re enter your credit card information over and over again. A great idea, as long as it secure, which just found out it is not.

Sony has recently announced they will give (5) five or so games away for free, as an apology to their gamers. Sony has also announced for any user of the PlayStation network, they can sign up for a year's worth of free credit monitoring.

The thing about the Microsoft Xbox servers to play online games cost you $60 per year. Which too many not seeming like a bad option, if it's a secure environment. If you think about it, Microsoft has been dealing with the online line stuff for years, so one would think they would have a leg up on Sony.

This raises another question about updates; it said that Microsoft runs updates for the 360 users about twice a year, and Sony you have to do it for just about every game you want to play. The updates can be very annoying, considering it took me 45 minutes to download all the updates so I can play the first BioShock game on my PS3.

I guess if it really comes down to it, Xbox does have its durability issues. Meaning many true Xbox 360 gamers have gone through more than one console; mainly due to the ever popular RROD or Red Ring of Death. At the same time make your decision on what your friends have, so you can have fun and enjoy your gaming experience with others.

Now is the time to turn those used PlayStation games into cash, The Old School Game Vault ( http://www.wcityauctions.com ) gives you great prices when you sell PlayStation games online for cash.

PlayStation 3 General Knowledge

HOW IT STARTED:

PlayStation 3 is the new console released on November 11, 2006 in Japan. It is the newest member of the PlayStation series produced by Sony Computer Entertainment, a Japanese video game company. This new console introduced a few unique points to the series. PS3 brought the shiny PlayStation Network and a new feature which allows users to use Blue-ray Discs as a storage device. After the release of the "fat" PS3, Sony released a Slim version by September, 2009. The Slim version is lighter, smaller and uses less power than his big brother.

ACCESSORIES:

The PlayStation 3 has many accessories that can be used in a big variety of games. The first controller was the "SIXAXIS". It was used from the release of the console until 2008, when DualShock 3 took his place. The main difference of the two controllers is that DualShock 3's vibration function doesn't interfere with the motion sense. As we all know a controller is just not enough for the gamers of the 21st Century. That's why the PS3 also has a "racing wheel" for racing simulation games. This wheel was developed by Logitech. PS3 users can also interact with certain games through motions using the PlayStation Eye. This is a webcam with a built in microphone, and it can be used for games like "EyePet", "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08" and "The Eye of Judgment".

RELIABILITY:

Sony made a very reliable console with only 10% failure in a time period of two years. Even if the console is one of the most reliable out there on the market is has it's problems. A few of these problems are the "yellow light of death", which is a non-specific hardware problem. This problem occurred mostly in the UK, so sometimes a console repair is needed. PS3 repairs can be annoying if you do not know a store which can fix the problem near you. Also recently there was a big error with the PlayStation Network. Someone hacked the servers and accessed the user database. This leaked the personal information of around 77 million users including passwords, addresses, and payment history. Apparently no credit card data was stolen. After this Sony gave a free month membership to all PSN users with a new identity theft program.

GAMES ON PLAYSTATION 3:

There are a few PlayStation 3 exclusives like "LittleBigPlanet", the "Infamous" series and maybe the most popular PS3 game, "Uncharted". Of course there are tons of multi-console games like the "Devil May Cry" series, "Mortal Kombat" and the "Call of Duty" series. Today game developers are more likely to publish a game on consoles like the PS3 and the Xbox 360 than on a PC.

REPAIRING YOUR PLAYSTATION 3:

PS3 repair is very important on these consoles, as they tend to broke. There are many things that can go wrong in a complex gaming platform like the PlayStation 3, and the repair prices scale as the problem get's more serious. There are websites that can help you with problems like errors or PS3 laser replacement + PS3 YLOD.
